breagh
I heard there's a problem with the cakes next weekend Brian? We'll just have to make the best of it ,if your misses is on the barbecue again tell her to be a bit more heavy handed than she was at the 2 day. It's a long way from Fife and i don't want to fork out for fish suppers for a very ungrateful entourage on the return trip. See you soon. . broony
After all the warnings about gale force winds and heavy rain it looked like Sunday's trial would be a bit of a disaster. Not to be those who ignored the weather forecast and turned up to ride had a mixed bag of weather(even sunshine). The event itself was a great success, everyone raved about how good the sections where. After the trial riders enjoyed a BBQ with refreshments(the cakes did arrive) and everyone left with full stomachs for the journey home. The trial raised £400 for MacMillan Cancer(big pat on the back to all that entered) also thanks to Lothian Trials club for putting on great event, Mrs Broon for helping the other girls with the BBQ.And not forgetting Kelvin the landowner for use of his land . cheers the noo Brian & Alf
