neils on wheels
Does anybody have any insight into the specification of the Mont Laia Sanz rode to win the women's WTC? I read it was not factory supplied but see from pictures it did have a Termignoni pipe.

mattylad
Must be the cheapest world championship for Honda ever. Take a 2 year old bike to 2 events and hey presto!! Hope her bonus was good. Joking aside it must be devestating for Emma to be beaten, hope she works even harder over the winter as the world title cannot be far away. The highs and lows of Laia saying shes not riding and then deciding too. It could drive a woman to madness
jj65
I can't quite understand why in the women's championship, they are allowed to drop 2 days off the final score, it's not like they are doing a dozen events in the year and its difficult to pay to attend. They only have 3 championship events don't they?, shouldn't they all count towards the championship, if so, wouldn't Emma have been champion?. I have no doubts that Laia is a worthy champion, but she should not be allowed to drop missed events to win the championship. I would imagine the bike she rode would have been the exact same bike she rode whilst in the Montesa team, they probably gladly loaned the bike, or she may have had to even pay to use it. But I think they would have been pretty confident she would win, anyway, she gets the championship and Montesa get the credit too.
