breagh
Sleeves should slide out. Must be stuck fast to the needle bearings. Probably the swingarm has been pivoting on the spindle/sleeves.. Likely you can drift/press the sleeves out The needle bearings are more of a pain. Maybe have to cut them somehow them before you drift/press them out Cheers the noo fae bonnie Fife
adamspad5
As Breagh says, the sleeves should come out pretty easy as should be a moving part against the bearing. The best way to remove the bearing imo is to insert a socket roughly the same size or a tad smaller than the outer edge of the bearing, and a large socket on the other side, then push the small socket through using a vice. It maybe tight at first but once it's starts moving it'll pop out no problem.
exman
What can I say than THANK YOU GUYS! I had tried earlier this morning with no success than I came up to mu desk and prepared almost a novel with plenty of my observation and new question for you...Now I can recognize myself at least as and apprentice mechanics: everything is dismounted. In the meantime I have noticed that the rear brake cylinder leaks, knowing myself it'll open whole new field.. Tks again for your fast response, enjoy your riding!
