gregr
Guys , I have been using my Miller Hi-Boy framed 250 'taco at a few club meets {with mixed results} and always well pleased when people come over to check it out . My question to those in the know is ... how rare is the '79 Hi-Boy frame ? Cheers Greg

Andy
if i could find how to post a image i would ! If you have a look at the top of every forum (or click here) you'll see instructions on how to insert photos into topics. There's a far easier way than creating albums then linking to the albums
gregr
Cheers Andy , but getting back to my initial question , how rare is the Hi-Boy Bultaco frame ? ta Greg
charlie chitlins
Nice bike! I've got to admit, though...I wouldn't notice that it's different from any other Bultaco frame. I might have noticed that it's chrome and thought, "Dang! I didn't know they had rednecks in Belgium!"
trialsrfun
I have one in Australia (with M199 gear) numbered 686 or 989, which could mean anything.Yes they look nice but the only difference is - Stronger / better workmanship - headstock has a full wrap around gusset - down tube just under the headstock is curved like the M158. Have measured and compared to standard M199, and all is the same. It is still a pig to ride compared to the M158. Is the 199 more difficult to ride than the 250 198 due to bigger engine/more power or is it the handling that makes the difference?
feetupfun
How the @#$% did my user name change? different name alright but it is pretty easy to work out who it is bodwheel is pretty cool though, sounds like someone who is closely attached to their bike Edited September 26, 2013 by feetupfun
bodwheel
Yeah - when I'm not falling off it! M158 has nearly 50mm (2") shorter wheelbase, and shorter forks too.
nigel dabster
Its quite rare cos they weren't/aren't that good.
bodwheel
Dobby - that would mean your 340 isn't any good then?
