lewis cosgrove
http://www.shercousa.com/pdfs/sherco_fork_seal_replacement-1.pdf I changed the fork oil on my Sherco 2009 not long ago, 330 ml is the amount to use.
slik
Thank you KOZZR . I suppose there are no differents between Ceriani and Pioli forks .
copemech
NOTE: The oil quantity and procedure are different on the later model paoli/ ceriani with separate spring/ rebound adjusters. 330 ml is incorrect!
lewis cosgrove
So what is the correct amount then Cope? http://www.sherco.com/tl_files/core/pdf/manuels/2009MaintenanceManual_ST2T.pdf "330cc 150mm air vol" When i done it i just made sure there was an air gap around 150mm on each leg. Seems to have worked fine...
copemech
You must understand that there the old standard forks with air caps, at 330ml per side, then the new style Paioli with adjusters which came about "06-"07. One leg has spring, other has damper, L-R accordingly. Rates on these are 385ml on L, and 370 on R(no spring), BUT one must totally remove and pump out the damper cartridge in right let to use measures because they retain oil. This is critical! Pump it for 5 min! Set by heights, they are L- 110mm and R -60mm, difficult to measure as well so pump out the damper to remove old oil is simplist for me. There you go, now it all changes again with the Tech forks on later models.
