l05tb0y
Hi, I am Dave from Wallsend Newcastle area, I've just got myself a 2004 sherco 250 to learn/practice on, Any tips would be great. I've just about always had motorbikes since I was very young (not so young now lol) mainly road bikes and crossers so I thought I would try a bit of trials riding. So any tips on riding or even to keep my bike running ok would be cool. Also is their any place I can practice my riding in the Newcastle area. Thanks Dave.
biggegg
hi dave,i'm new here also(1 week old and from gateshead) like yourself i have just gotten my first trials bike(2002 290)can't give you any tips but sure there will be plenty of others who will. i phoned warden law the other day(karting n.e.) and they allow trials bikes 7 days a week, they said £15 per day,or £15 to join and £10 per day(membership is jan-dec)up until me and the kids got trials bikes we used to go to pea farm on the dirt bikes,it is somewhere to ride your bike but probably more set up for mx bikes, that's also 7 days a week shaun

l05tb0y
Yes I will do soon but I want to get used to riding a trials bike. I've never riden one before and want to get used to the gearing and balance and other things.
