4stroke
Just wondered how many of the remaining Seeley's still have the original stainless RSC back boxes fitted. I had one from new and the rear box needed plating before it was two years old, paper thin! The odd ones that come up for sale all appear to have after market exhausts fitted. bashplate
If it's stainless it shouldn't rot or need plating???????
4stroke
If they did not rot, where did they all go?
davyb
The Seeley exhaust is not stainless, just chrome plated, and rusted through after time, just put a magnet on it! Edited November 25, 2013 by davyb
geniejlg
Hello zisko62, Thanks for the picture of the exhaust not a lot of Seeley Owners will have seen one, that is the most original looking Seeley I have seen since 1981. Their are some very good examples of machines that have been minted, but I still love the way bike looked when it first rolled out of Colin Seeleys work shops.
