biggegg
hi,i'm going to be fitting a new clutch, and after checking which oil to use it says on a couple of gg websites 10w40 and the other says 5w30 and i'm sure one said not a synthetic oil??? on our gg125(1993) we use a 75w(i think) also unsure what fuel mix ratio i should use,one the gg 125 and sherco 290 i use 80-1 and i was going to use the same mix for the gg 80 until i found on a website that it should be 50-1 and another said 1.5%????? information overload!!!! lineaway
The 80 will actually work with all those oils, and 80;1 will be fine. Ps, just do not run the ty80 at that! Edited November 20, 2013 by lineaway
biggegg
so 10-40 or 5-30 either will work with the new clutch? as for the ty it is running on about 30-40:1(just been re-bored and had less than one tank of fuel through it)
