zander250
I bought a sherco side stand from splatshop and after a few rides my friends pointed out that it is creating a wear mark on my tyre. I was just wandering if there is any thing i could do about it? Thanks.

lineaway
You are likely missing the guard that it stops against.
copemech
I am not aware of any "guards" on these. Many of my bikes over the years have been very close on the spring, and the tire may change that as well. On several, I have offset the snailcams just a bit to get better centering of the tire in the swingarm and better spring clearance. Does not seem to matter, as the chain looks to ride straighter as well, yet I do believe there are some geometry issues with it all that add up to no real difference at the speeds we run. lineaway
Some Sherco`s seem to rest on the disc guard. I remember a rider installing a new guard at a trials. Just as soon as he kicked up the side stand the `new` guard broke instantly.
reggie
Take a zip-tye and tie the centre of the kickstand spring to the kickstand this should give you a tiny bit of clearance.
footpegleg
I have a 2008 sherco 250 and when i got my stand same thing, but simple zip tye was the answer for me and no more rubbing!!! however when i have the rear tyre pressure down to about 5psi some big drops and jumps it still touches barely so that would be your best bet I fink, Are u in the buie??
