crowley
I've got a Mots helmet and like it. The fit is the same as an Arai or HJC (which are my road and track helmets) I like it apart from the silly plastic buckle, despite this it works well. Not tried any other trials helmets so cant say how they compare, but when trying various others on at the Off Road show, the Mots fitted me best. wobblenorbed
Had a spada ( £45 ) for four years washed the removable liner after every trial. Not a bit of bother, excellent value for money as I sold it on for twenty quid a year ago and the guy still uses it now. Cant go wrong. Good luck. richt
I had a Shiro £50 used it for 3yrs. very popular. What was your last one? I would recommend you try em all on for the best fit. The Hebo and MOTS are good quality hats but none fitted me.
coops
I have a wulfsport that I bought when I first started back again. Never been really happy with it' as it doesn't fit brilliantly ..could really do with trying a few different ones but can't find anywhere within reasonable travelling distance that stocks a good selection. May just need to bite the bullet and go find somewhere. Cheers
neilh
the best advice when buying a helmet is go to a shop and try a selection of them on.. sometimes a £40 helmet fits better than a £200 helmet depending of what size / shape crust you got
chegz
Yea go to a shop and try some on, I was really surprised when I bought my last helmet, hadn't even considered it.
madmostin
Sizes vary between manufacturers. I like my old nzt as I can hear the bike still.
99stewby
Has anyone had a experience using NZI helmets? Been looking for a new one myself and have come across trials uk selling a NZI carbon fibre one for £85. They only have xs left but that should fit I think, I'm currently wearing a small wulfsport but isn't a great fit.
2stroke4stroke
I quite fancied an NZI at one time but when trying one on the padding appeared to be made of some species of wood. Don't think I could have worn it for long.
crowley
I tried Spadas too. In fact, all 3 sizes fitted my head as badly as each other. That's why I bought a Mots - because it fitted like a glove, phnarr..phnarr The Spada looked good value if it suits your head shape. Helmet fit is everything.
