bulto58
Hi, To be able to see and check the level, and coolant mix. I used to remove the electric pack above the rad,it gives you a better access. may take a bit longer, but peace of mind.
taffe
I do as Sherco 34 does, and to check the level I have a piece small hose with a mark scratched on it that I stop at the filler neck and when withdrawn the fluid level shows somewhere under that mark showing how low the fluid is. Cheers Taff
tony27
Far easier to remove the front tank mounting bolt & fold the cdi etc out of the way, I've used both methods & prefer this 1 as theres no messing about trying to get the cap out of the way to see the level or struggling to get it sitting flat before screwing it back down
