retro
I am a newbie looking for a bike. Need opinions on 2-stroke versus 4-stroke & bikes. I'm sure about any bike would work but doesn't hurt to get opinions. Thanks Much for any info. Retro in Arkansas

toetoe
the best advice i was given was to buy a second hand bike, because if you don't take to it you don't lose much, if any money on a second hand bike up against a new one, also the modern trials bikes are very powerful so don't be tempted to go to big, i had a 250 and it's perfect for me. copemech
As a general answer to you, I would say that as a beginner, unless you can find a Montesa 4T in decent condition, you would be better off with the best condition 2T of 250 flavor or less you can afford. This is a fairly large window, but 250's can be hard to find even! Here!
