boospeakman
Hello folks, im very new to these forums and even newer to trails. I currently own a 315 montesa 2000. Its my first trails an im struggling. Firstly I noticed my carb ( dellorto phbh26 cs ) is missing a screw and its terribly boggy. The thing is I dont have a clue which screw it is. As you look at the carb as its on the bike its the screw on the very left. Main jet? oil screw? I dont have a clue. Any help would be much appreciated im itching to get out on it. Thanks

boospeakman
this a google picture of the same carb... is that missing a screw or is my carb just badly set up??
b40rt
Some Dellortos have an air screws as in carb shown, in which case the other hole is redundant and not relevant. If it has a petrol screw it would be in the left hand hole and the other one is redundant. The center screw is on both and is for adjusting the tick over. An air screw is out to weaken the mixture, a petrol screw is in to weaken mixture.
