redfly16
Hi all, I have just brought a 05 gasser and on first ride discovered the clutch was slipping. I have stripped the plates out but there is quite a lot of metal fillings in the oil (plates are scored and some friction pads damaged) so wanted to take the basket out just to check it's all ok and clean. I have removed the centre bolt but can not remove the basket do I need a special tool to do this. Also what is the best oil to refill and how much do I use (ml) Do I need to worry about the height of the kit I buy as I have read some info on different heights on weather it's a light or heavy clutch ???? Many thanks mark

lee99780
Hi. I have an 06 300. Had my clutch out a few times. With the centre bolt out it should come off. might be tight on the bearings on the crank. I havent even got a centre bolt in anymore! I use Motul light gear oil. 400-450ml
