smalley250
Fitness has nothing to do with what sport you pick as each sport demands differently, ie i do MTB in summer get back on a trials bike n knackered in 20 minutes. Get a 250 as it will be easy as a beginner as you can tame it down and will server you as you get better removing the restrictions. Buy a few year old bike as you can hammer it and loose little money until you progress. As for lessons you will no doubt meet some friends at trials coms like minded. nelly1
i agree with smalley250 but i would have thought the balance you have gained from your previous sport will serve you very well in trials i can recommend ryan youngs trials training dvd its very good

rij
Hello stan1 There are loads of clubs around the midlands I'm with Stourbridge club which is a great club to join to start with as they do great well set out trials . But there are also clubs for Stratford, Evesham, king norton , Redditch, sutton coldfield, Leamington victory, bewdley, Dudley They can be found on acu site and amca site These all vary in difficulty as some clubs set out harder routes than others, but all do a few different routes to suit different rider capabilities. You can practice at shatterford and button oak which is where me and friends go to play! Bikes. I started in a rev 3 200cc brilliant to learn on, 250 are good but I would stay away from bikes bigger than 250 as a few people I know bought these and it is to much to learn on really. Hope this helps! Rich
