miked Posted July 6, 2005 Report Share Posted July 6, 2005 The TLR 250 got it's first outing a a club trial in Perth WA, last weekend. First trial in 25yrs, since moving here from the UK. It's amazing how much better the old Honda grips than the new two strokes, though have changed back to a rear sprocket of 41T as apposed to 43. Seems to put too much strain on the engine above 41. huntmaster Posted July 8, 2005 Report Share Posted July 8, 2005 Yes, that good old four stroke Honda traction kept me competitive in a lot of slick and muddy vintage events over the years, despite my old TL being a bit of a lump in other respects.
