mickd
hi all i am looking at getting a 2013 beta evo 250 or the gas gas txt pro 250 I've come from a racing background and i did do trails for just over a year some time back,i started out with a sherco 290 and then a nice beta 250 came along and i found it easy to ride to the sherco not cos the power was too much on the sherco but the beta felt soo nice to ride now i find my self coming back into trials again and I've found 2 very nice bikes in very good condition, both the same money, but would you buy the beta or gas gas,i know i should try to ride them both but there along way away so i will have to ship them to myself if you had another chance would you still buy the gas gas / beta and if so why? thank again mick Edited February 1, 2014 by mickd
nelly1
i have a beta 250 it is easy to ride as you know. Ive ridden gassers (only a couple) i find them very aggressive so i suppose it depends which suits your riding style love the title ass gass Edited February 1, 2014 by nelly1

copemech
Last Beta 250 I rode was a really smooth bike and well finished, each has its pros and cons. If you for some reason cannoy use your left leg, then you cannae start a Beta, but for me, I have a difficult time starting a Gasser, so I ride a Sherco, all personal pref. inchhigh
Had betas 11 years had very few problems. Got a Gasser last year and I love it.only thing I don't like is the airbox. to say it's bad is a under statement Edited February 1, 2014 by inchhigh
duggan
Both good bikes, ride them both if possible and decide which one suits you best or buy the one which is most popular in your area, least then you've got a better chance of someone having spares if a problem arises. I've always got loads of Gasgas spares, am sure that's why all my mates have Gasers, thriving sods!!!
