wayne509
Anyone had their TR frame powder coated? Will there be an issue with the heating process affecting the bonded parts? Not too keen on the frame colour of my 12 bike and fancy something a bit different. I assume the factory bikes with the white and green frames have been powder coated but just checking that assembly of the actual frame wasn't done afterwards. Any advice? montesarepsol777
We wrapped our Ossa frame with no problems so can be removed and/or changed to different colour with little effort.
wayne509
How hard wearing is it though? Does it rip easily?
montesarepsol777
wrapping has been on since feb 13 no damage so far it has frame protectors where the boots rub-easy repair if it split for a few quid

wayne509
That looks really good ..... I assume it was quite a fiddly process? Hard to see what has been done at the headstock ..... was this a 13 bike and you left it black? Edited February 11, 2014 by wayne509

wayne509
Have changed my mind and still want to go with the powdercoat. Still a bit worried though as to whether it's going to fall apart afterwards. I took it into the powder coaters today for a look and he thinks it has maybe been put together after the parts have been powdered. Anyone familiar with the construction process of the Ossa frame. Anyone powder coated theirs?
