hi all

i have a 2002 txt 280 standard for about 3 weeks.

Still catching up on maintenance needed, and have attacked the rear suspension tonight and have found and not to my suprise everything dry as a bone!!!

I've found an adjustment setting on the bottom of the shock that had been facing the engine and i didn't know it was there until i spun it around!! and i presume that it should face to the rear for adjustment?

is this the rebound?

My problem is the gold annodized rocker arms!! when i've spun the shock around they have reversed from the original position i.e dog bone to swing arm connectors, does this matter? or is there only one way to install them?

Sorry for the book like question!!

Thanks for everones help so far, this forum is a big help and appreciated.
