It only went in for new seals, gaskets etc... and I gave him putoline nano trans to put back in the engine and ice cooler too!! any ideas whats wrong? I have noticed oil around the seal/cap on the clutch reservoir since its come back tho?? I trust my mechanic before anybody thinks its him lol! he used to be a Honda race mechanic etc... lewis cosgrove
Bleed the clutch, could be air in the system?
dadof2
Sounds more like a phantom mechanic
copemech
What are you on about? Do you mean the clutch does not disengage(plates stuck)? This is normal! I was a Honda race mechanic. I rode p*** out of them than had to keep them running! Edited February 16, 2014 by copemech
thats_a_five
Clutch drag can happen for various reasons. 3 mostly likely reasons and fixes. 1) clutch lever adjusted incorrectly. Readjust. 2) air in the clutch hydraulic system. Bleed. 3) drag caused by transmission / clutch oil. Use different oil.

zippy
Does the problem "go away" when warmed up? The Sherco I had when first started sometimes the clutch plates would stick together and with the clutch lever pulled in would still ride away. After a little bit of riding and pulling clutch lever in and out the plates would free up and everything would be fine from then on. From what I understand that was/is a common occurance.
