jackthelad98
Hi, I've got a 2010 evo 125 and I'm wanting to get a spare mudguard, as somewhen I'm going to snap one I was just wondering what year mudguards can fit the 2010 model, even if a bit of modifying is required. I like the 2012 and 2013 mudguards the most. I think I heard not long ago someone say the 2013 could fit every 2009 onwards model with a bit of drilling. Is this true? Has anyone done it? Thanks, Jack
jackthelad98
Also, can anyone tell me how flexible the newer mudguards are, or even give a comparison to the 2010 if possible, thanks
canada280i
Just buy one of these unbreakable kits - http://www.motomerlin.org.uk/beta-evo-rear-mudguard-kit-jitsie-bosi-5105-p.asp
ross brown
I put one of the above mentioned 'unbreakable kits' on my Beta 125. Must say I'm quite disappointed in the fit and finish. This forum has many threads on Beta rear mudguards. check this one out. http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/39454-rear-mudguards-2012/
jackthelad98
Yeah I looked at the TTT 'unbreakable' mudguard a few months ago, but I havnt heard any good feedback about them at all, so that's a no-go for me

If I was doing it all again, I'd avoid the TTT (great concept but poorly executed) and keep my original mudguard but do the two mods as 'chuckindenver' suggested: a) cut the uderside lip off it so that the mudguard can be more easily share the bending loads without snapping replace the side mounting screws with plastic screws.
