laird387
Hi, From time to time the Welsh Three Days trial was used either as the 'official' or 'unofficial' ISDT selection test and, in any event, manufacturers knew there was good publicity to be had across several aspects of the sport and road machines. Here, for example, AMC took the opportunity to demonstrate the introduction of their own motor/gearbox unit by equipping some of the potential ISDT members with the version fitted in a Francis-Barnett chassis. So Bill Faulkner, with his usual twinkle in his eye, spotted Alan Vines camera, and pulled a quick wheelie in the 1958 Three Days. Enjoy.
