sam
I notice on the montesa I just purchased that two bolt/stoppers are not on the headstock, they keep the fork tree from slamming the frame. Should they be there or do you remove them for tighter turns? sam
hrc2002
Put them in, protect yourself, your forks and frame.

terry
If you have the book that came with the bike, it probaply has the bolt size listed, torque spec., day of the week it was made and who made it listed. No, really it is probably listed and sized so you can just go somewhere locally and get the proper bolt and a jam nut. If you don't have it, let me know and I will look it up for you in my book.
