pandelboy
Try the old vice method boys for breaking your beads, get someone to hold wheel and nip up tyre in the vice and keep revolving round and nipping up until it goes! also a little washing up liquid and water solution squirted around prior to starting is a good idea and let it soak in a bit. bikespace
Bead breaker? You mean a C-clamp? Bloody hell - can't believe I never thought of it - it seems obvious now. G-clamp would do the trick nicely. Charlie - I'm beginning to believe you're not nearly as thick as you look, and you're nowhere near as thick as I look
kevin j
Injection moulding is so cheap to do why such a huge difference in prices from make to make? cheap to do, but very expensive for the first one. Friend in the plastics mold business, and molds are 10's of thousands of dollars. taking sheer numbers of trials riders vs. MX riders (must be 100x or 1000x MX here in the states), divided by the mold cost = most vendors say no way. numbers = demand = people willing to supply = cost competition = low prices Maier did fendors for the TY250/350 but had dropped those now I think. k
rob w
I do happen to know a place that will make plastics to a pattern... and the cost is less than you would think. Hey r2wtrials could you please email me about this - I have some VMX interest and questions Thank you
