breagh
Hello there, for my sins I've ended up with an old Bultaco. Pretty sure it's one of the last 340s engine wise,Number 4351 B. But the frame looks a bit odd, hand painted look with a dodgy pinky orange primer. Is this normal,? Frame number is rb 19803844 b (could be d). Just curious. Thanks in advance. bambam_n_chunx
Your right in thinking its one of the last of the bults going off the numbers, however 198 means you have a 250cc model, the 340 would start
breagh
IT's an odd one,the engine number is nothing like the frame number,it has 199 in it. It has 6 gears and it's a killer to kick over? Checked jm19914351b Edited April 12, 2014 by breagh
trialsrfun
The 340 was the only one to have 6 gears so you must have the 199b model which had a white frame and blue tank, good bike. Try cleaning the paint and debris from the frame and engine number area, sometimes parts of numbers can be well hidden. Call InMotion Bultaco they will be able to confirm which model you have.
