feetupfun
The clutch arm shaft can stay in the cover when it comes off Can't tell what went wrong with the rear guard from your photo

pro sport
Hi Michel Its my guess that this Montesa is a ' Barn find' and has not been ridden for a few years ! In which case everything will be a bit stiff as lots of parts will need free-ing off, give all moving parts a good spray with 'WD40' or similar easing oil. Change gearbox and clutch oil when you service it. Also Points may be stuck open or closed giving No Spark and also Carb internals will need a good clean/ replacement. The Fender is in close proximity to the Muffler and if the bike was previously running a bit lean the the Muffler would be hotter than normal and could have melted the plastic!!! lineaway
You would get more response posting in the Montesa section.
