guys
As trials riders, I think we probably have better control of our vehicles than many other people. The problem that started this thread was when the rider no longer had control of the bike. Once that happens it does make sense to me to have the bike shut down. If I do a lanyard, I will probably wire it in addition to the existing kill switch and with an override function in case of lost lanyard (as simple as a way to unplug the switch). If you follow this advice a lanyard switch is always an advantage, the few times it's a problem, (how many times do you really wave at friends???) amount to nothing. If in doubt, just read the first post in this topic again. Edited May 1, 2014 by guys

cabby
I've been doing trials for four years now, I've never needed one before, is there a reason I should have one now ?
wobblenorbed
No one is forcing any one to do something they don`t want, it was just a suggestion. Put your handbags away.
