zacmul
Hey guys, I've been having a bit of trouble with my clutch recently. I'm just wondering if anybody knows the minimum plate thickness for my bike. The clutch is lagging a bit once I let it out under high revs. I've already changed the oil and it made it a little better but it still drags a bit, I changed oil from Maxima to GRO and it seams better to me. I've also bled (is that how i spell it?? haha) the clutch but that made no difference at all. Cheers, Zac.
showershorts
I have the exact same problem with my 2012 300 sherco. The clutch just doesn't seem to release as quick as it should although it does seem sharper when its cold. So far I've changed the gear box oil and the dot 4. Also the plates also don't seem warn to that extent. If you do manage to suss it out please please let me know.
copemech
If you are stating you want a quicker "bite" when releasing the lever, try ATF of good quality. Progression may suffer, but a tradeoff. There is no minimum thickness as they are self adjusting and either totally smoked or not!
