mjn246
I swim in summer here in Australia but winter too cool. There quite a few heated pools nearby and the yummy mummies are easy on the eye! I'd scare them in my budgie smugglers... better wear some proper swim shorts! Hehehehehe Mags hahaha! Too cool in winter to swim in Australia?! Heated pools?! Brilliant! Anything with weights to build a bit of muscle and core strength. Core strength is vital.but start off slowely and build up gradually to avid injury.
bigmark1972
Just ride your bike as much as possible. I agree with this, if you have a noise issue can you possibly get an electric to practice on? I am fortunate enough to be able to ride whenever I want and try hard to get a solid hour of riding in every day. I also weight train fairly intensely 5 days a week and I can honestly say it's more of a hindrance than a help for trials IMO. The one thing I have found that helps me the most to be a better rider... is riding. Edited October 18, 2014 by bigmark1972
rob214
i try and follow this guys workouts because almost zero equipment and can be done anywhere. i usually don't have time to workout long or go to a gym, so this fits in on most days. my job is pretty physical so i get some benefit from work. my main problem area is cardio endurance. http://www.bjgaddour.com rob
rickr
At 58 years old and having my share of neck and back issues, I found the best way to get aerobic, low impact exercise is on my road bicycle. Gets the heart and lungs working hard, lots of leg and core exercise when riding and it's fun. Of course, at 5'8" and 260 pounds, when i get my wheels blown off by some 80 year old out on a leisurely ride, it can be a bit demoralizing......
