scot taco
Is this the correct way to mount the rubber intake boot to the airbox on a 199a? If so,does the flat side of the mounting plate face down,up or to one side? I want it the correct way before I start drilling holes in a new airbox. bondy
Flat part faces down scot. First make sure the rubber boot is in the correct position on the carb before drilling

bondy
Scot I would first drill the holes then mount the box and rubber boot mount the carb to get the boot in the correct position then make a mark throw each hole on the rubber then you can make holes throw rubber boot.hope this helps dont blame me if you mess it up ah
