199B Transfer Ducts?

Im renovating my 199b (which I haven't ridden yet) and Im finding some slight anomalies. The piston has been fitted without the con-rod spacers - this means the rod is floating at the big end and little end (!). I can remedy this but I am confused when looking at the transfer ducst in the crank case - these do not match the barrel and look more like motocross ducts than what I 'd have expected on a trials engine. Se picture on the link below.

Any ideas? Have I inherited some pursang cases? The flywheel is the large type and the primary chain is single row so everything else seems to be Sherpa. It has 6 gears.

Any clues folks??

They've been modified by smoothing them out, helps them rev a bit more I think. In smoothing them out like that it also means a little metal is lost from the edges so they end up a little oversize. Normally the cylinder would be matched to them. My modified 199b is similar as is a mate's 199a that he recently stripped for a rebuild.

Standard Ossa MAR ducts are like that

I've seen the same cases used on the 198B,I think at this late stage Bultaco were using any parts they had available to assemble bikes, they are pursang or frontera cases but you will find they have the correct numbers on them.
