"essential" Big Wheel Bearing Conversion

As I am currently in the market for a new trials bike ( my first ) I have come across a couple of adverts (one in offroadmart particularly) that states there has been an "essential" bearing conversion done. Machine in question is a Beta Evo 250.

Is this a "thing"? an essential conversion? is it something I should be aware of and avoid those that have not had it done?

If you hadn't guessed I'm quite clueless regarding these machines (that will change in time). I am aware of clutch issues but am mechanically competent enough (engineer with 18+ years on the tools) to address these, likewise any hot start issue I have read about. All I know so far is what I have read on this and similar sites (only a member here though ) and figured you Beta owners out there will know far more than I.

Is it an issue? is there such a thing as an essential conversion for wheel bearings?

Thanks in advance people B)
