trialtrial
A friend just got an 09 200 as her first trials bike. Great machine. The throttle is a bit soft coming off idle and then has a hit. I was wondering if I can smooth this out somewhat with a bit of jetting work? It already has a black throttle tube if that makes any difference. thanks! totalshell
sounds as if its jetted ok.. i'd retard the ignition a tad and see if that gives what you are looking for.. ( mark the original spot before starting so you can put it back if you dont get what she wants..)
mcman56
Certainly not the same bike but I had a 97 TXT 270 that had a similar throttle response. The little hit seemed top happen just when I did not want it like in a tight turn. An overly rich pilot jet helped a little. The cheapest dual stage Boyseen reeds totally eliminated the little hit and made it smooth from idle on up.
