richierich
Hi, I think this is my first post although I have been a member for 12 months or so. Can anyone advise whether there are any issues with turning directional tubeless tyres (eg IRC) to redeem a sharp tread. My understanding is that the carcase of the tyre may be wound in a particular direction and the direction of rotation branded on the sidewall accordingly. I have turned tubed tyres before without any complication but I thought it best to check with the tubeless IRC, especially as it is such a soft tyre to start with. Many thanks

baldilocks
Its only really an issue if you are going to be on the road for a long time at hi speed. I have turned michelin tyres in the ssdt and not had a problem. I don't think a modern bike can go fast enough to cause an issue with the tyre
