chappo Posted August 17, 2014 Report Share Posted August 17, 2014 Hi everyone, still on with my rebuild of the 248 and I'm having trouble sourcing a felt pad that sits on the stator plate to wipe the flywheel cam. chappo Posted August 18, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 18, 2014 Thanks guys, what I didn't mention was that the felt pad has worn through and then the cam has worn through the metal strip that supports the felt pad so theres nothing to support a new piece of felt. I understand guys that these things are going to be likes hens teeth and i'm probably going to have to manufacture something, thanks for your help. Regards Dave.
