bult1
Hi Folks just lashed out some of my pension on a Bultaco, eagerly awaiting its arrival, as the manual is enroute with the bike can anyone on the team advise me the ground clearance from the sump as want to purchase a bike lift off eBay. Thank you in anticipation.
johnmartin247
Welcome bult1, nice bike you have bought there, can't give you exact clearance to sump but usually about 12 to 13 inches if that helps. Enjoy the site. cheers John.
trialsrfun
Buy a hydraulic scissor type bike lift, wheel the Bultaco alongside the lift... stand in front of the bike to the twist grip side...hold the bar grip with your left hand while hooking your thumb over the front brake lever to hold on the brake..hook your right hand fingers around the spokes of the front wheel by the rim... easy lift on to the stand now job done. Nice looking bike too. Edited August 20, 2014 by trialsrfun

totalshell
the hydraulic lifts circa 80 quid are THE best thing you can buy for the bike. to maintain the lifts life dont leave extended( up) overnight..
