victor94
hi, i am 20 years old and from belgium i started trialbike (bicyle) riding when i was 15 years old. then bought an KTM 250 enduro at 18 years and sold the bicycle. now i want to do trials back on a motorcycle. what bike should i buy? what brand is good? 2stroke of 4stroke? i think a 125 is to light for me, so is there much difference between the 250-280-320-... cc bikes? (sorry for bad english) greets Victor
johnmartin247
Hi Victor, welcome to the forum. There is a lot of great information on the forum regarding starting out and lots of information on the brands of bikes. First up you should try and find a trials club near you and perhaps go along and see what they do, they may be able to point you in the right direction regarding what bike may suit you. I would say that you should not go above 250cc until you are confident that you can handle the power, there is a bit of a difference with the power output of the bikes above 250cc. Two stroke bikes are usually cheaper to buy second hand than four strokes, as far as brands go i don't think there is any particular one to avoid, it is more a case of what you feel comfortable on. Good luck with the search, i am sure you will get all the help that you need on here. Cheers John.
