zazoo
Very very slowly putting my 200 back together. Any ideas on how much gearbox oil goes in. Drained the old oil from sump. In the manual it says to pour gear oil in until it overflows from oil level plug on side casing. I have already put a litre in and no sign of overflow yet. Oil taken out only measures half a litre. zazoo
Thanks to all for your replies. Can't believe I have been so thick, but coming from a time when I was taught half imperial and half metric in school. I decided to weigh one litre of water and low and behold it weighs one kg, who knew? Something I was never taught, but talking to a physics teacher I work with, basic physics!! However oil is thicker so the top answer of about 1.5 litres is right. Thanks again. We can now breath life into another dead Fantic.
