milly
Yep.... that was me! Thanks for that, was getting a bit tight on time by then, and was trying to calm John down after his five in the easy section before... he would have won the trial on two marks if he hadn't gone into the drink... best five I have ever seen him have! windlestone
whats happenning with the front brake actuating arm in the picture? is that the standard angle?
glenn
Yeah thats the standard arm, they where made like that to get them out of the way of rocks and stuff. the original bike was designed and built by don smith who did montesa's first trials bike aswell. marky g
I'll have to try and get a go on my mates KT, the last time I rode with him he was a Gas Gas man through & through......now he says he isn't bothered with the modern stuff, he just likes riding the KT. old trials fanatic
Hi guys Just been on e bay and theres a Gollner KT250 up for grabs looks really nice but bet it fetches a high price? Over
marky g
I think if you buy any bike you should use it, I hate seeing bikes that are just done up for show I like to see the twin shock bikes around but I'll stick to my TY250 for that classic feel, it can still outgrip some of the modern bikes. I've entered it in the two local ACU Classic trials rounds near me in April, the Welsh Trophy on the 3rd and The Hooper Trophy on the 25th. Be nice to put some faces to the names if anybodys about
