lbhbul
Bondy, If the looseness doesn't cause binding then lube it lightly and go on down the road, but if you want to fix it properly then ensure the cam shaft is not worn and have a machinist bore & bush the backing plate to repair. Probably expensive. Larry
trailie
If you can't get sorted out locally, I could do that for you, but you'd need to post me over the bits. http://www.ralphsbultaco.blogspot.co.uk Edited September 14, 2014 by trailie

trialsrfun
It is not a Bultaco only problem Bondy any make can wear just the same. If it is quite worn you will be losing a great deal of braking efficiency. Has the hub had a brake liner or does it still have the chrome surface? guys
I've used a brass bearing sleeve in my Bultaco's brake plates. Is somewhat self lubricating and has very low friction.
