I will get a Fraser TL with a modified XL engine ( 350 crank, TL gearbox, larger Piston ) and now I have some Questions.... - which color was on the fuel tank Honda red or different ? - fuel Tank TL250 ? ( here Fantic ) will a TL125 tank fit on the frame ? - Is rear brake normaly always right side ? ( here left ) - Are the fenders from a special bike or something like Gonelli ? always red ? - Engine silver or black ? - anyone knows something about the history of the bike ? original
heres a picture of mine on this thread, looks a bit better now. - http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/41989-what-can-i-do/ i'll try and help... - i dont know which red it is but my tank, i beleive, is the correct colour. - i'm 99% sure its a honda tl 250 tank - the rear brake is on the right hand side from new - sorry dont know - my engine is silver which is from new, i believe these bikes have a tl 250 engine which has been bored out to 305cc, i've been trying to get a head gasket , and failing, its from a XL 350, i had to have a copper one made in the end. i've ridden my a few times now and its had various teething problems which are slowly being sorted. hope this helps wayne Edited September 24, 2014 by original
hendrik
Got the bike at home now, runs good, shorter than my stock TL250, the 380cm³ engine is fantastic, just like a big pre65 Made the first changes, build smaller side panels, I really dislike the fantic Tank, must be changed during winter, a Tiger cub alloy tank combinated with alloy fenders might be nice, any other (cheaper )ideas ?

ty250nl
This Fraser was rebuild by a very skilled mechanic from Holland. I had first option to buy the bike before he started to work on the bike. But I did not go through with the sale because I started the build of my Ives S90 Honda trial (almost done). I have 2 more pictures of your bike, when it was still 280 cc. If you're interested please send me a mail at arie ad vormtekst.nl and I'll send them to you.
