2stroke4stroke
I remember that well. It was the first time I observed at the Scottish but I struck lucky that day as I drove the back marker's car up for him and so avoided the worst effects of the snow.

dadof2
A few shots of a youthful looking JR Sunt's dad if I am not mistaken. Brilliant stuff at the home of Agostini, Why can't we have some decent mud at WTC these days? What a pity Yamaha quit the sport. breagh
Do you think you would get away with that section about the 34 min mark at a modern t/s trial? Edited October 3, 2014 by breagh
cubik2
Amazing piece of trials history that...loved seeing what those riders and bikes could do back then on some equally tough sections of today ............the proper waxed trials suits, scant headwear and heavy boots just look much better than the flouro-skin suits nowadays. dadof2
Perhaps that's why Bou won't ride the SSDT, get his nuts frozen in that skin tight lycra.
breagh
Aye that skin tight stuff' so camp even Julian Clary couldn't get away with it.
b40rt
Do you think you would get away with that section about the 34 min mark at a modern t/s trial? Interesting to try with modern tyres and suspension.
naichuff
First saw this in the E&D club rooms as a preview I was an official that year so knew most of those on the film They have edited out a big step at the beginning where you see Mick showing lifting the front wheel He went up one that was even bigger Honda also made a film the following year Edited October 4, 2014 by naichuff
breagh
Interesting to try with modern tyres and suspension. Ross the bikes have got better but the riders are a lot older. I can picture a nice chap on an SWM somersaulting from the peak of that rock as the modern tyres got him a lot higher than he really wanted! Followed by similar on a Bultaco.
