mforbes
Can someone enlighten me as to what appears to be "Air assist forks" on my 1976 TL250?
b40rt
Sometimes they are to fine tune "spring" rate. 99% of the time its to let built up pressure out.
hendrik
That must be a Change of one of the preoners, no Honda stock. Air assist forks were very popular in the 80's to adjust the suspension, but ideal to kill your fork seals..... Let the air out of the fork and use progressive springs, I have springs for Yamaha XS360 in my TL, works fine....
axulsuv
Tlr's / reflex's in the states had air forks , but not the TL series that I know of ... But nonetheless , no more than 2 psi to be safe ! Glenn
