Air Assisted Fork Advice.

Can any of the experts help me to get the correct air pressure in my air forks? I find that they are very hard to check as the mere action of sticking my pressure gauge on to the valves usually lets all the air out, i know very little air is needed to produce pressure in the forks, but there must be a foolproof way to do this surely???? :D

cheers,

S.M.

Use a pushbike pump to add air to the forks (bicycle pump for those heathens South of the border) - minimises risk of blowing seals. Then use a gauge to lower the pressure to the required setting.

There are proper pumps made just for suspension - S&W used to make one.
