suzuki250
I’ve got the spada helmet, had it about 3 years and it’s a comfortable well made helmet. The only thing that I’m not keen on is the strap buckles, they have gone rusty Edited October 20, 2014 by suzuki250
thats_a_five
I also have the Spada open face. Same rust issue but a little dab of paint when new would prevent that. Ventilation is not great. I made some mods to the foam to move more air from the area outside each eye, above the ear and out the neck at the rear. It does have removable cheek pads and liner so they can be thrown in the wash. The best helmet I have seen for ventilation is made by Airoh. Lots of vent holes with screens. Friends have suggested duct taping the upper vents when riding in heavy rain.
axulsuv
I've got a new Airoh Carbon , Absolutely The lightest , most comfortable , Simplest to clean , and best ventilated helmet I've ever owned .... And it came with clear plastic vent covers that snap in for rain !!!! It's your head , The Shiro helmet I handed down to my son was good too , and a 1/4 the price Glenn
copemech
Try Wulfsport
joeninety
I had a Spada and found it to be okay but was quite heavy and I found this a problem in trials with obstacles that caused the bike to go from nose up to nose down quickly and the weight would crick my neck sometimes. I tried the Airoh and they seemed nice but were expensive and didn't seem to suit my head shape. I ended up with a MOTS, lighter than the Spada and much cheaper than the Airoh at around £75. Try not to buy without trying as helmet fit is the key...
terrier
My Nau Power fitted better than an Airoh on me, so happy here with the cheaper option, lovely quality and spec for the price. I see Wulfsport may be launching a new trials lid shortly as shown in last week TMX. Wayne
