carl ekblom
Dellorto VHST 26 BD fits stright in and is an excellent carb. More power, no dribbling, no pinging, instant throttle response and a soft throttle spring. Beta use it on the

stuessenhigh
Mmmmm....now this is getting interesting...thanks for some great info Mike and Carl....it certainly sounds like the Dellorto would be interesting since the bits are all on the correct side. stuessenhigh
Lets just try to stick to the alternative carb chat on this post guys!!...there have been so many posts over the years regarding the "other" topic/issue. THat Dellorto is sounding more and more interesting Carl..........I see the one in the picture is an R9359, and you give your jetting info for an R9354.........is there any difference? howard wallace
Stu, Top Fun do a PWK for the Beta, recommend one anyday, over the Dellorto. http://www.topfun.com/eng/doc/indexweb.asp Edited August 22, 2005 by Howard Wallace
stuessenhigh
mmmm...cheers Howard..and there was me thinking there weren't any alternatives for the Beta. Sounds like the Dellorto and the PWK would be worth a try..(when i've got some spare dosh!)..think I'll give the Keihin a miss though, with all the adjustments being on the wrong side. stuessenhigh
DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......stupid me.,..the PWK IS a Keihin...still looks like that one on topfun has the adjustments on the wrong side though...well the choke at least?? I guess that R9359 is a specific Beta jetting for Beta Motors which should be very similar to mine. Carl
