burns1989
Hi iv noticed my fan runs constantly when the bike gets hot when I'm out riding it and doesn't switch off at all. The water pump is in tact coolant is up to the fill neck . Or is it normale for them to be constantly running when up to a certain temperature. dadof2
Some other possible causes. Radiator air flow passages clogged Radiator and internal water passages clogged - possibly someone has mixed OAT and BS6580 standard antifreeze Corrosion in pump. burns1989
All sorted now flushed out the radiator and on dranine the coolant there looks to be some rad weld gold stuff but I think it was some material from where they fixed the casing . But now the fan cuts in and cuts out so zerorevrev4 you know what to do now lol . Thanks dadof2
magicmat
when the water pump goes and the side casing allows oil and water to mix, it forms a sort of mayo, which goes around the rest of the engine, this can cause blockages else where and you have to clear it all out. it may have been mayo previously which moved around? glad its sorted though, well done
