laird387
Rob Shepherd, who won the 1977 British trials championship on his works Honda, seen collecting his new Honda/Montesa 4rt from Craig Holmes, with Richard Thorpe of PJ1 Oils. The new bike is said to handle better than the current versions, as well as having a more controllable throttle response - but only the results will tell. My apologies - photo; Barry Robinson. tonyp
I saw that Rob was getting a Bantam, and I was delighted that we had a real legend back on the trials scene. But now I'm really really pleased to see that he has a Honda. He's the guy who kick-started the Honda trials story. So it's just feels so right that he 's reconnected with Honda. Just one suggestion .... can you give the beast a bit of a late 70's paint job ? Really confident hat he'll teach Toni a trick or two about riding Honda's ?? laird387
Hi tonyp, if you like the Honda models there are more images of Rob on the short-stroke 360rtl in ORRe-12, which will be on-line in the next few weeks. Cheers - and enjoy. Deryk Wylde
