holeshot
My first post after lurking for a while....Hello! I used to ride trials as a lad (a few decades ago when twin shocks were still cutting edge!) and really fancy having another go. My 'skills' will be pretty rusty but I've been racing MX til a few years ago so am not totally lost off road......however, I'll be pretty rubbish!! I'm looking for a Trials school that provides teaching + bikes for a day's try-out. I live in SE London so anywhere nearish to there would be perfect. All the ones I've found are right oop north and just too far to travel within a day In another life, distance wouldn't have been a problem, but now I've got a young family so am very 'time-poor'. It'd be great if you can help......thanks guys
fantic240motor
http://www.berkotrials.com/ We're not exactly on your door step but we do have a bike available for people to have a try out trials at our practice ground Nash Mills in Kings Langley. It's primarily help them decide if trials is for them before buying a bike. Maybe that would help you? We also run trials training days for members who own their own bikes if you get back into it. tjp
if your willing to travel toward the south west Steve Saunders is worth a shout.... http://www.sxsuk.com/Trialschool1.aspx I did a training school with him a few years ago and really enjoyed it/learned a lot. Good luck and welcome back to trials
holeshot
Thanks very much for your really kind replies guys - great suggestions. tjp: Wow, yeah, thanks - I remember Steve Saunders when I was a schoolboy. Fearlessly cleaning impossible sections on his TY175 as a junior that even the Seniors couldn't complete - Formidable rider even then! Sounds possible , as not too far from my parents, so maybe a good excuse to visit them with the kids;) fantic240motor: Thanks, that's a really nice setup your club has. That might work - a very kind offer. Let me have a think...... Edited November 28, 2014 by holeshot
