the addict
Put more fuel in Although I have run out of fuel in the past that has to be the easiest, cheapest and most logical fix anyone could have posted up.

the addict
On a serious note though engines rev up when they are running out of fuel because they are running far to lean, letting them do this regularly, or in your case reving the knackers off it may nip it up if not seize it solid. As above, put fuel in it when needed, kill the motor if it is running out.

fastbelly
My SY250 never did this when running out which it often did whilst practicing. I have had mx and enduro bikes do it. Funny question though.
toshy
Well it sure ain't to funny half way up a committing rock section when it hits full rpm you got to toss it and won't shut down even when hitting the kill switch. I think I might have an air leak,
lineaway
It also could be the `on` position runs out early. Ride with it on reserve all the time. Down side is you would be out of fuel. I did this on the Beta Techno`s because the CDI could break the plastic fuel tap in the on position on a hard drop off. I always ran it on reserve.
sp1
Bit of a late reply but I've only just joined, my 2007 sy250 does exactly the same when it's getting low on fuel.
